The Mountain Heart Men’s Ceremony is a 3-day immersion held from 5:30pm August 9 to 5:30pm August 11 at 13 Moons Ranch in Carbondale, Colorado.

You will make your own ceremonial hand drum that you get to keep for your ongoing practice!

Experience a traditional Lodge with Elder Long Soldier.

The gathering is designed to build connection and vitality through ceremonial rites for men of all ages. This men’s-only container offers a unique opportunity to reset, recenter, and reconnect to your conscious masculine. This is an invitation to the mountains, to meet in community and to dive deep through the practice of facilitated workshops and experiences including: breathwork, river plunges, sweat lodges, drum-making, live drumming, chanting and music, fire making, locally-sourced and cooked meals, camping and more.

The event is hosted on land that exudes the healing power of nature, located 5-miles from downtown Carbondale at the base of Mount Sopris, called Wemagua (Heart o the Mountains) by the Utes. Carbondale’s inaugural mens ceremony is being held as a gathering for the evolution of masculinity for the 21st Century.

The gathering is co-created and facilitated by an incredible team of ceremonialists, musicians, artists and leaders including Hunter Toran, Ramses Abud, Dustin Eli, Eric Baumheimer, Davis Cowels, Kyle Jason Leitzke, Alec Solimeo, Alec Vishal Rouben, Mason Mostajo and Anders Carlson. Included in the weekend ticket is full-workshop and land access, two-nights of camping and three days of locally sourced meals.

Hunter Toran

I’m a ISMETA registered and insured Somatic Educator and Therapist; an Energetic Body Worker, Musician, Poet, and Ceremonialist. With, precision, compassion and humor I guide individual’s to overcome chronic and acute pain as well as anxiety and depression.

I help individual’s to understand and remediate the subconscious threads of habitual thinking and movement that can keep individuals from the embodiment of their innate genius.

Through experience, body-work, discipline and play, a new biographical tapestry can be woven through movement and meditation that becomes a new expression of individuality and freedom. These practices increases our ability to connect with self and others, they deepen our awareness and efficacy, and help us to move through life in a more consistent, flowing grace.

I strive to help individuals understand and express themselves as free individuals, to find their flow and creative genius. The work is a striving to utilize movement as the language of life, and to employ human movement as a tool of emotional and physical orientation, as the language of change and spiritual reception.

Reflection on Love. FOR ME… I don’t believe in unconditional love. Love knows no conditions.

🫲🏾❤️‍🔥🫱🏾LOVE IS LOVE 🫲🏾❤️‍🔥🫱🏾

It’s easy to “love yourself” when we’ve surgically modified and implanted external things into ourselves. Seeking something externally that isn’t in harmony internally.

I’m no saint I too have done things in the past I am not proud of. I too have fallen to addictions and self harm.
There’s always been a piece of me who hasn’t loved and accepted myself. Insecure of my body when the root of it was the lack of love. I didn’t love myself enough to focus on what I put into my body and what i do with my creative energy daily.
I’ve shifted the narrative and thanked myself for the lessons.
I thank you all for contributing weather you know it or not you’ve all influenced me in one way or another. Those judgements I’ve made of others was a reflection of what resides inside of me. Something that wasn’t acknowledged and brought to the lite.

I’m back home. My spirit is aligned with my flesh my spirit desires to live fully. I’ve detained myself with limiting thoughts and beliefs and I’ve brought that to a close. They still exists those thoughts still reside in me they no longer rule me.
Today I feed those thoughts to the fire.
I am free
I am liberated

Everything I’ve ever sought resides inside me.

The only thing I desire is connection.
Connection to likeminded individuals.
Those who are vulnerable or seek spaces and connections where we can be.
Deeper more meaningful conversations where we can be authentic and compassionate humans.

Yes the plant medicines are amazing and I’ve dedicated my life to working with them. They’ve taught me a lot, this revelation was shown to me working with them. The most important part of these ceremonies and initiations is integration and applying these teachings to my life.
So here I am answering the call and opening an invitation to join me in coming into unity. COMMUNITY.
